Hands Across the Border (1944)

1h 12min. // Adams and Brock, who breed horses, are competing for the Army’s contract. While attempting to ride his horse, Trigger, Adams dies, and Roy intervenes to prevent the horse from being killed. Roy then trains Trigger with the intention of riding him in the competition and winning the contract.
